The Wilkie Outlaws’ long reign as Sask West Hockey League champions will go on the line Tuesday night against the Hafford Hawks.
The Hawks forced game five with a 7-2 win on Thursday night in Hafford. The Hawks were powered in that game by the goaltending of Joel Grzybowski, the former North Stars goaltender who was MVP of the Canalta Cup playoffs last season.
Grzybowski stopped 42 of 44 shots; the team also got two goals each from Jeremy Boyer and Kyle Rivett.Â
That means the series is tied at 2-2 with the deciding fifth game to go Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. at SaskCan Community Centre in Wilkie. The winner faces Macklin in the Sask West league finals.
