HUMBOLDT — Twenty-one swimmers from the Humboldt Hammerheads gathered 10 first place finishes, 10 second place finishes and 19 third place finishes at a swim meet in Regina.
Jorja Yeager, a 2010-born woman, placed first in the 25 metre freestyle, 50 metre freestyle, 25 metre backstroke, 50 metre backstroke and 25 metre butterfly. She came home with a gold in the age 7-8 women’s category.
Charlize Parish placed in first twice. The 2004-born woman won in the 50 metre backstroke and 100 metre backstroke. She won silver in the age 13-14 women’s category.
Olivia Gerwing, born in 2004, placed first in the 100 metre backstroke.
Landon Fraser, a 2011-born man, placed first in the 50 metre backstroke.
An age 7-8 relay team made up of Landon Fraser, Emeillia Pasitney, Jorja Yeager and Marley Salamon placed in first.
