HUMBOLDT — The quarter-final series will be decided in a game seven.
The Estevan Bruins defeated the Humboldt Broncos at the Elgar Petersen Arena 4-1 in game six of the quarter-final series March 24.
Estevan’s Johnny Witzke and Will Koop each scored in the first period, followed by a shorthanded goal by Devan Harrison in the second period.
In the third, Brayden Camrud, with an assist from Logan Foster, scored the Broncos’ only goal. Estevan's Bryce Platt then sealed the game with an empty-netter.
Rayce Ramsay of the Broncos stopped 28 out of 32 shots on his net, while Grant Boldt of the Bruins stopped 34 out of 35.
