There is an increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 at the following location where a person or persons attended while infectious:

Individuals who were at this location during the specified timeÌýmust immediately self-isolate and contact HealthLine 811, theirÌýphysician or nurse practitioner to arrange for a COVID-19 test, even if asymptomatic (have not developed symptoms).
In order to keep everyone in SHA care spaces safe during this time, family presence/visitation is being restricted toÌýLevel 3Ìýat theÌýGood Soil Long Term Care Facility.
This means that visitation is restricted to End of Life reasons.ÌýExamples include, but are not limited to: palliative care, hospice care or those who are at high risk for loss of life, dramatic shift in the functioning of a patient orÌýpatient unlikely to leave hospital.ÌýÌýAdditionally, under Level 3 there is provision thatÌýone essential family/support person can be designated for all residents to assist with care if needed (self-care, mobility, nutrition & behavioural needs). This must be approved by the care team.
For now, this measure does not affect outdoor visitation.
