Sagehill Community Futures has announced a new loan program designed to help small businesses as they adjust to the post-pandemic world.

The Booster Loan Program provides up to $25,000 to small businesses for operating expenses.

鈥淲e are anticipating that this program will give small businesses just the boost that they may need as the reopening of Saskatchewan takes place鈥, said Susan Wehage, Sagehill鈥檚 CEO, in an announcement aired on Facebook July 12.

The business has to have been operational for at last one year within Sagehill鈥檚 region and must demonstrate their viability.

Eligible expenses include payroll, rent, utilities, property taxes, business insurance, advertising and inventory purchases. The funds cannot be used for capital purchases, or to repay or refinance existing debt.
