On June 8, Pinehouse RCMP received a report of an arson in the Northern Village of Pinehouse.
PINEHOUSE - Pinehouse RCMP are investigating a case of arson that destroyed an excavator.
On June 8, Pinehouse RCMP received a report of an arson in the Northern Village of Pinehouse.
The investigation determined that sometime between the evening of June 7 and the morning of June 8, an unknown individual or individuals discharged a firearm at an excavator parked at the landfill off of Highway 914. The excavator was then set on fire.
The excavator was significantly damaged. The fire did not spread beyond the immediate area of the excavator.
Pinehouse RCMP continue to investigate.
