Trinity United Church celebrates church’s 100th anniversary

Day marked with worship, fellowship, music and food.

MOOSE JAW — On June 1, Trinity United Church held a 100th anniversary service, which was conducted by Rev. Doug Shepherd. Mayor James Murdock was in attendance and gave a brief history of the United Church of Canada.

After the service, everyone gathered in the basement to enjoy a lunch catered by Charlotte’s and to enjoy some music from talented members which include Gideon, Gwen, Doug, the Engles and the church choir.

There was a display table of artifacts from the last 100 years, and the afternoon ended with an anniversary cake made by one of our members, Bev Ruehs.
