Cut Knife Report- May 26 – June 1
Cut Knife RCMP had 100 calls for service between May 26 to June 1. These files included well-being checks, reports of disturbances, reports of traffic offences, mischiefs, assaults, assault on police, break and enters, firearm/ weapons complaints, breach of peace, failure to comply with orders, Mental Health Act calls, suspicious person, animal calls, Liquor Act and assisting other agencies.
Notable files include:
Electronic monitoring reported a 25-year-old breaching their conditions by not being home during curfew. Members followed up and the accused had reported being assaulted and needed to go to the hospital. Investigations showed no hospital visit was made. The 25-year-old was also charged with public mischief for providing a false statement.
On May 30, members responded to a call regarding a 26-year-old male pointing a gun at people. The individual was charged with multiple weapon charges and failure to comply with orders. This matter is still under investigation.
On May 31, members were dispatched of unwanted people at the Country Roads Motel fighting. Members attended, three people were taken into custody and charged with assaulting a police officer as well as other breach of conditions charges.
On June 1, members responded to a vehicle rollover eight kilometres east of Cut Knife. No injury was reported.
On May 31, Cut Knife RCMP had dealt with a suspicious death investigation approximately 15 km east of Cut Knife on Highway 40.
Thirty-five traffic stops were made, resulting in speeding tickets, warnings, roadside suspensions, and impaired driving. Members responded to two alarms and four Mental Health Act calls.

Members attended a track meet at Neilburg school, participating with the youth.
A member had stopped by for the Poundmaker Cree Nation Feast on May 29.
Members also attended the Poundmaker Cree Nation School powwow on May 30, marching in serge and participating all day with the activities.
Unity Report- May 27 – June 3
RCMP attended a single-vehicle collision near Unity. The vehicle driver was transported to the Unity Health Centre with minor injuries. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision in Unity. There were no injuries and no charges were laid.
Members are investigating a complaint of a vehicle hitting an individual riding a bicycle.
RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
Members issued a seven-day roadside suspension after a traffic complaint.
Police issued a 60-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop.
RCMP received a report of a bear injured in a field. Members attended and euthanized the animal.
Members received a request from Emergency Medical Services to assist with a patient.
Police received a request from the Unity Health Centre to assist with a patient.
RCMP received a complaint of theft but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.
There were also four traffic complaints and one false 911 call.
Wilkie Report
RCMP attended the sudden death of an 89-year-old female from Wilkie. The death was not suspicious in nature.
Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a complaint of theft but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
RCMP received a complaint of a stolen truck but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
CN Police reported a damaged railway crossing arm. Reported for information purposes.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. The subject of complaint was transported to Battleford Union Hospital for assessment.
Members received a complaint of uttering threats but it was unfounded.
There were also two traffic complaints.
Macklin Report
RCMP received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.
Police spoke to an individual regarding a probation order.
Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.
RCMP received a report of lost identification. It has not been located.
Members conducted another well-being check at the request of a family member.
There were also three traffic complaints and two false alarms.
