The local office of Farm Credit Canada has been gathering food through its annual FCC Drive Away Hunger initiative. Through efforts such as a food drive at a recent Junior Yorkton Terriers game, and cooperative efforts with local schools, farm machinery and agricultural supply companies, tons of food was collected. Recently the food gathered was then donated to two local food projects in the city. Pictured above, 4,651 pounds of food is delivered to Soup Haven. Another 1,778 pounds of food was presented to the Salvation Army. The total collected was 6,429 pounds.Staff Photo by Calvin Daniels
