Winnie Garbutt of the Yorkton Horticultural Society fills the table display at Saturday’s Spring Plant and Bulb sale held in Parkland Mall. Money raised from sales will go to support club activities such as providing plants to local nursing homes, as well as start-up funds for kindergarten class flower beds. Former president of the Horticultural Society, Ed Sek offered up some advice for beginner gardeners, “Talk to your neighbours, talk to other local gardeners.
