Area Girl Guides held a trade show Sunday at Yorkdale Central School. The trade show was a fundraiser for the Parkland Prairie Extra Ops Girl Guide group. The group is going on an international trip next summer where approximately 30 girls will travel abroad for nine days. To make the venture affordable for the girls (and Leaders) they are doing a lot of fundraising. The show included 29 booths, as well as, Girl Guides offering face painting, Girl Guide cookies, and a cookbook table. The group also sold raffle tickets on a Quad they will be drawing for near the end of July at the car show.Staff Photo by Calvin Daniels
