On Friday, May 24 Yorkton Regional High School Grade 12 student, Darien Kequahtooway, won the “Leadership” Award at the Sasktel Aboriginal Youth Awards of Excellence. Darien is the Student Representative Council President. Darien is also a member of the Senior Boys Basketball team and has been part of the teams that have won Bronze medals at Hoopla. Upon graduation Darien plans on furthering his education with a focus on Business. Darien truly is a positive role model for youth in the community of Yorkton.Submitted Photo
