The 58th annual Threshermen’s Show and Seniors’ Festival was held at the Western Development Museum on the weekend. Demonstrations showcasing many early agricultural techniques were held, including plowing, threshing, and stooking. Other demonstrations included a working sawmill, clay oven bread baking and grain grinding. Several antique cars and tractors were on display and weekend activities were wrapped up with a parade held on the museum grounds. Here Barbara Evans, a former student of the Western Development Museum’s blacksmithing course, demonstrates forging techniques.Staff photo by Jennifer Zentner
