Saturday afternoon once again saw many volunteers in the streets for the annual Spring Clean-up Day, sponsored by the United Way. The event began in Central Park and saw volunteers spread across the city, picking up litter wherever it could be found. Volunteers were most noticeable along Railway Ave. and Territorial Drive where they could be seen in the ditches and fields removing litter and making North Battleford look as good as new again.Photos by John Cairns
