Nellie Gonas 1930 - 2013 Nellie Gonas passed away in Estevan, Sask. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Nellie is survived by her children, Shirley (Rick) Fuessel of Regina, Sask., Mike Gonas Jr. (MaryLou) of Lethbridge, Alta., Debbie Anson of Bienfait, Sask. and Dennis (Lori) Gonas of Bienfait; grandchildren, Tyler (Jennifer), Ryan (Fabienne), Parker (Aly), Kevin, Chelsea (Troy), Justin (Kelly), Jesse, Devon and Dylan; great granddaughters, Mia, Makayla and Taya; brother John (Janice) Fedyk of Red Deer, Alta.; in-laws, Annie Hodgson, George (Cathy) Gonos and Wynne Gonos, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Mike Gonas; parents, Nick and Edna Fedyk; son-in-law Frank Anson; brothers, Matt Fedyk, Bill Fedyk and Stan Fedyk; and sister Irene Abramyk. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Monica's R.C. Church, Bienfait, by Rev. Brian Meredith. Interment followed in the Bienfait Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make donations in Nellie's memory may do so directly to the Bienfait Legion. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
