Natasha Marie Yoner February 1, 1993 - March 15, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce Tash's tragic passing on Thursday, March 15, 2012. She was just beginning her life journey when it came to an end at the tender age of 19. Tash was born in Regina on February 1, 1993. She was the youngest of 4 children. Born in Regina, but living in Torquay, Sask., she started school there, and in 2001 the family moved to Estevan where she continued her education at St. Mary's School and the Estevan Comprehensive. In her younger days Tash played soccer and ball. She attended Brownies, skated and played the flute in band. She loved to swim (and took lessons), play cards, sing, bake, dance and surprisingly to some, write poetry. She had a very special love for animals and because of that has left us with a small part of her, her faithful companion "Loki" whom we cherish. Coming from a very big and close family, get-togethers were so ... much fun. Jet skiing, beaches, camping, games, Christmas in July and oh she loved it. She went to many different places including Edmonton (West Edmonton Mall), Diefenbaker Lake, Cypress Hills, B.C.(Enchanted Forest, Atlantis Water Slides, Sicoumous and many other stops along the trip there), Calgary (the Calgary Zoo, Calaway Park, Calgary Stampede) - she had fun wherever she went. At 14, she got her first job in the deli at Â鶹ÊÓƵern Plains Co-op. Over the next 5 years she had many different job experiences until her last as shipper and receiver at Custom Truck Sales in Estevan. Getting her licence was the best thing ever. She was always willing to drive people here and there no matter what, but she just enjoyed her joy rides and good times with her friends. They were very important to her. Tash had one of the biggest hearts ever and a smile and beautiful eyes to go with it. She had a giggle that made you grin and her bubbly personality captured the hearts of many. Her energy and enthusiasm for life will be missed. She loved to talk, hence the nickname "Chatty Natty" was a common referral to her at home. Forever in our hearts. If Tears could build a Stairway and memories were a lane, We would walk right up to Heaven and bring her home again. Tash is survived by her parents, Alroy and Anita Yoner of Estevan, Sask.; siblings: Ryan Yoner of Weyburn, Sask., Alicia Yoner of Edmonton, Alta. and Craig Yoner of Estevan; grandparents, Paul and Bertha Thievin of Estevan and Andrew and Helen Yoner of Lloydminster, Sask.; uncles and aunts, Mark Thievin of Maple Creek, Sask., Joan and Darcy Chmilar of Maple Creek, Evelyn and Don Perkins of Estevan, Catherine and Jeff Oliver of Edmonton, Greg and Sabrina Thievin of St. Albert, Alta., Michelle and Mike Jerke of Wetaskwin, Alta., Angela and Darren Tanzell of Regina, Andrea Yoner and Keith Howie (Calgary), Leonie and Cory Milford (Lloydminster), Bruce and Wendy Yoner (Lloydminster), Kelly and Mary Yoner (Regina); along with great aunts and uncles and numerous cousins with special mention to Morgan Oliver, and faithful companion Loki. A prayer service was held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. The funeral mass was celebrated on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Estevan, by Rev. Joel Rama. Those so wishing may make donations to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation, Box 5000 - 203, 1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, Sask.
