The Jackfish Lodge Golf and Conference Centre hosted the 17th annual Battlefords United Way charity golf tournament Monday. More than 120 golfers played in beautiful weather throughout the afternoon. The tournament also featured a barbecue, 50/50 draw and a chipping contest with a miniature wedge. Two teams tied for the lowest score. Martin Smith, Brett Michnik, Phillip Lefevre, Rob Campbell and Herb Cox made up one team. The second team, from the St. Walburg area, included Mike Bauer, Laverne Nasby, Travis Nasby, Scott Thompson, Kevin Gagnon and Darryl Graham.Photo by Brett Smith
