Flora Christenson (Jale) October 25,1921 - October 19,2013 Mom passed away peacefully at the Betel Personal Care Home in Gimli MB. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2008. Mom and Dad lived in the Bienfait, Sask. area until retirement to Abbotsford, BC and Winnipeg MB. She is survived by her daughters Beverley and Christene: Beverley (Ralph) Herget of Gimli MB, and their son, Rory (Kelly) children Connor and Anna of PEI, and by their daughter, Danielle (Christian) Schmidt, daughter Madison of Winnipeg. Christene Christenson, Kelowna, B.C. and her sons Regan and Doug; Regan, son Reid and Doug (Lolita), son Dawson all of Kelowna, B.C. Mom met life's challenges armed with courage, determination and a great sense of humor. She was special and will be greatly missed. We are so grateful and appreciative of the care and attention Mom received from the staff at Betel. She loved "her girls." A private family service will take place at a later date.
