Edwin Wells, a long-time volunteer at the Western Development Museum, presents a cheque to museum manager Joyce Smith, and programs and volunteer co-ordinator Cheryl Stewart. His donation will be put towards the restoration of the doctor's home in the Heritage Farm and Village. The home once belonged to one of North Battleford's first doctors, Quebec-born Dr. Joseph Jules Hamelin. Filled with furnishings and artifacts donated by the French Canadian community, the building is fondly referred to as the “French House." If you would like to donate to help with the much needed restorations, please contact the WDM at 306-445-8033.Photo submitted
