The first day of the season for the Battlefords and District Farmers’ Market was Thursday, June 6 on the Battleford Furniture verandah in Battleford. Among th first marketers of the season were jewelry-makers Alanna Priel and Stephanie Hunt and a new generation of gardeners, their kids, Sofia and Shelby Hunt in the stroller and chair in front, and Carsyn and Camryn Priel behind them.Photo by Jayne Foster
