The Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs Community Development Corporation made two major donations Wednesday. The first, to the Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation, was $50,000 for equipment for BUH’s women’s health and birthing centre. The money will be put towards purchase an infant incubator and two LED phototherapy systems, which are blankets covered in LEDs used to treat jaundice in newborns.
