SASKATOON – Saskatoon police renewed its request for clues in the 2006 murder of 23-year-old Hughie James Assiniboine.
Assiniboine’s body was found in an apartment at 1622 - 22nd Street West around 3:20 p.m. on May 5, 2006. Saskatoon police say he was stabbed and it appeared that he and a second male had been involved in an altercation with several other persons outside the apartment building.
Several people were interviewed but no suspects have been arrested. Homicide investigators believe members of the public may have information helpful in solving the case.
