Dear Editor:
The Board of New Horizons Senior Citizens of Yorkton Inc. would like to express our appreciation to the Government of Canada for a grant of $8,035 for the purchase and installation of air conditioner for our Seniors Centre.
This project has provided a pleasant and comfortable environment for our many seniors and other groups in the community who participate in our activities and with whom we share our hall.
This project was funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors program. Through grants such as this and the support of the community, we are able to continue with many needed improvements to our Seniors Centre.
