Novice Black team wins two, loses one

The Canora Novice Black hockey team won two league games and lost a third in the past two weeks. On February 4, Canora defeated Langenburg 15-8 in Langenburg, said Cindy Sznerch, team manager.

Named as the Canora Novice Black team’s two rising stars during a game played on February 10 were PJ Kruger and Claire Ruf.

The Canora Novice Black hockey team won two league games and lost a third in the past two weeks.

On February 4, Canora defeated Langenburg 15-8 in Langenburg, said Cindy Sznerch, team manager. Goals were scored by Chase Hembling, Linden Roebuck, Wyatt Wolkowski, Tucker Mydonick and Logan Sznerch.  Assists were by Hembling, Roebuck and Kayden Harder.

At home on February 10, Canora defeated Preeceville 10-9. Goals were by Wolkowski, Katherine Hauber, Roebuck and Hembling, and assists by Hembling.

Named as the team’s two rising stars during the game were PJ Kruger and Claire Ruf.

In Churchbridge on February 11, Canora lost 8-3. Goals were scored by Hembling and Roebuck, and assists by Hembling, Roebuck, Hauber and Miah Ruf.
