SASKATOON — February school break makes for a wonderful time to enjoy winter activities and create family memories. Whether you’re planning a staycation with your kids or looking to try new activities, the City of Saskatoon has options for you.
Family Day Skate Event
Monday, Feb. 21, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cosmo Arena and Civic Centre
Everyone is welcome! Bring your skates and safety gear and come out for an afternoon of winter fun at the free Family Day skate event.
Skating will take place at the Cosmo Arena, while non-skating activities will be offered both indoors and outdoors at Cosmo Civic Centre. Please dress warmly.
Leisure Centres and Indoor Rinks
If you’re looking for additional activities to try, check out one of the six Leisure Centres where you can enjoy swimming, waterslides, court sports, open gym times and more.
If you’re looking to hit the ice, try one of the city’s indoor rinks for public skating, as well as 0arent and tot skating.
Bonus swimming and skating sessions have been added during the February school break.
