Students of Chantel Kitchen’s Pre-Kindergarten class at the Victoria School in Kamsack paid a visit to the Prairie Grain Bakery and Deli in Kamsack last week when Kim Ferrill took them on a tour, explaining how frozen dough is received, proofed and baked, and how loaves of bread are put through a slicer. At the end of the tour, the students were treated to freshly-baked cookies and milk.
