Sunrise Regional Health Authority wishes to advise that Chairperson, Lawrence Chomos has resigned from the board that he has served on for the past nine years.
Lawrence Chomos was first appointed to the Sunrise Regional Health Authority as a board member in March of 2007. He was named Chairperson on December 12, 2012. In his resignation letter, Lawrence has stated that his time on the Sunrise Regional Health Authority was enjoyable and that he is leaving in order to pursue a personal opportunity that will require his dedicated time.

Vice Chairperson, Don Rae, has accepted the role of interim chairperson until a successor to Lawrence Chomos is announced. The Minister of Health appoints those who serve on regional health authorities and names a chairperson and vice chairperson by Order in Council.
