The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed May 5-11 as North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week.听 Every year, Canada, the United States and Mexico observe NAOSH Week to promote workplace health and safety.
听
鈥淣AOSH Week serves as an important reminder that we must continue to make health and safety a top priority every day,鈥� Labour Relations and Workplace Safety Minister Don Morgan said.
听
Luncheons are scheduled for May 6 in Regina and May 7 in Saskatoon.听 Both events will feature keynote speaker Paul Krismer, a positive psychology, engagement, happiness and safety expert.
听
A committee of representatives from the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, Saskatchewan Safety Council, federal government, Workers鈥� Compensation Board, and Labour Relations and Workplace Safety work together to promote and co-ordinate activities and events across Saskatchewan.
