Heritage Baptist Church held a community open house September 6. Pastor Brian Kirsch explained prior to the event: 鈥淲e鈥檙e having an outdoor service just to be a little bit visible to the community,鈥� he said. 鈥淲e鈥檝e been building for the last few years, building onto our building. We just wanted to share that with the community, open it up. People are welcome to come and tour the building. It鈥檚 a good opportunity for us to get to know people and for them to get to know us. We鈥檙e here to be a part of the community.鈥� The Church now features a gym with regulation basketball court and a youth clubhouse with ping pong, billiards, flat screen TV and comfy couches and chairs.
