The Yorkton Film Festival is proud to announce that it has partnered with Reel Canada to celebrate National Canadian Film Day on Wednesday, April 29th.
鈥淣ational Canadian Film Day is a great opportunity for Canadians to celebrate films that have been created and filmed throughout our great country.鈥 said Yorkton Film Festival Executive Director Randy Goulden.
鈥淧art of our festival鈥檚 mandate has always been about connecting Canadian films with Canadian audiences, so we鈥檙e very proud to be one of four Saskatchewan locations celebrating National Canadian Film Day,鈥 Goulden added.
National Canadian Film Day takes place on Wednesday, April 29th; there are over 140 screenings occurring across Canada, with four taking place here in Saskatchewan.
Yorkton鈥檚 screening will take place at Sacred Heart High School, starting at 7:00 p.m., and is completely free of charge. The film being screened is 鈥淭he Grand Seduction鈥.
