Recently Close Cuts in Yorkton received $4,792 from the Smile Cookie Campaign that was held at both Yorkton Tim Hortons locations. The funds will be designated to the Local Cancer Initiatives Program, which aims to support local cancer patients and their families through funding such as:
• One night stays at the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge
• One week stays at Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon
• The needs of Camp Circle O’Friends
• Cancer-related Initiatives of The Health Foundation
• Supplying each child beginning treatment with a Comfy Cozy (chemo accessible shirt) and a trophy to celebrate their completion at the Allan Blair and Saskatoon Cancer Centres.
