Today is Walk and Roll Day.
The day encourages people in Yorkton and across the province to walk, run, bike, rollerblade and skateboard to school and work on 'Walk and Roll' day.
The day focuses on the importance of children and youth engaging in activities that contribute to healthy, active lifestyles.
And that’s just what students did at Columbia School did as they walked and rolled from the Fairview Education Centre to Columbia School.
Yorkton Regional High School developed the day in 2006 to promote physical activity in the community.
