Yorkton’s Brick Mill has been buzzing with activity lately, as the Brick Mill Heritage Society works to not only preserve the building, but improve the area around it. Helping with efforts to preserve the mill was the Yorkton Co-op, which donated $10,000 to the society. Bruce Thurston, Co-op General Manager, said they are impressed with the society’s plan for preserving the mill and how they are going to use the money donated to support it.
