Rink Grand Re-opening - The Town of Bredenbury will be hosting a Grand Re-opening of the Arena on Sat., Dec. 6, 2014 from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. There will be free hamburgers, hotdogs, coffee, hot chocolate and dessert.

There also will be a special announcement and free entertainment that will consist of a magician for the children on the ice surface so dress warm; after the show there will be free glow in the dark skating so dress in white.

Be there at 2:00 p.m. sharp. We want Everyone to attend this event, including residents of Bredenbury and surrounding rural municipalities.

Bredenbury Arena Public Skating:

Public Skating Times will be: Monday-Friday 3:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday- 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The first day of Public Skating will be Nov. 9, 2014. There will be no public skating on Holidays. Changes to Public Skating schedule will be posted at rink and in post office.

There are no skating fees this year and no charges for public skating, so everyone please take this opportunity to enjoy the arena. The Rink Board will be compensated for any loss of income by the Town of Bredenbury through a monthly grant.

Public Skating may have to be cancelled occasionally if a tournament gets scheduled on the weekend or due to weather constraints.

Remembrance Day Service:

The Lions will be hosting a Remembrance Day Service at the Bredenbury Town Hall on Tues., Nov. 11 at 10:45 a.m. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Everyone welcome.

Knox United Church will hold the joint Four Pastoral Charge Service in Bredenbury on Nov. 16 at 9:30. Everyone Welcome. There will be service on Nov. 23 at 9:30 in Bredenbury but no service Nov. 30.

Fall Newsletters are out and the fall canvas will be done. Anyone wishing to leave their donations may do so by contacting Louise McLachlan or any session member before the canvas. Thanks for your generous support.

Church Luncheon:

The United Church will be holding a Roast Beef Luncheon on Wed., Nov. 19 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Church basement. $10. Everyone Welcome.

Craft Show:

Bredenbury will be hosting their annual craft show on Nov. 29, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Bredenbury Hall. Lunch will be available. For more information call Louise at 306-898-2034 or Margaret at 306-898-2122.

The next cougar hockey games will be Mon., Nov. 10 and Sat., Nov. 22. All games at 8:00 p.m. Come out & support your home team.
