Fill your summer fun cup at Duck Mountain Provincial Park

Duck Mountain Provincial Park is loved for its rolliing hills, well-stocked lakes within a beautiful boreal forest setting

KAMSACK — Shown on Google maps as a short 15-minute drive from Kamsack, Duck Mountain Provincial Park has plenty to offer summer enthusiasts.

Daily programming shows the last week of June offering such activity as campground games, a hiking adventure entitled ‘Skulls, Scats and Tracks’, and a fair house adventure.

Duck Mountain is one of the province’s parks that will host Canada Day activities such as the Great Canada Obstacle Course and a huge scavenger hunt, to name a few of activities that will be part of July1.

The Sask. Aquatic Adventures will once again be part of the ways to enjoy the water setting up a large on lake water park for all ages to enjoy and experience.

Saskatchewan Express will be at Duck Mountain on July 4 and full details of their day and performance is included on the Saskatchewan Provincial Parks website.

Duck Mountain Provincial Park will also include disc golf as one of the recreation options this summer. 

Duck Mountain Provincial Park is loved for its rolling hills, well-stocked lakes and boreal forest setting. With accommodations ranging from wilderness camping to electric campsites and two  to a lodge with modern cabins and townhouses, Duck Mountain offers in-park accommodation for every season. ​

This family-friendly park offers a wide-range of recreational opportunities. Fish for pike, walleye or perch in spring-fed Madge Lake, or try one of the various other lakes found in and around the park. Bike a section of the Trans Canada Trail or sample one of the other self-guided or interpretive trails.
