Todd Lewis, President of the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) has met with Cong Peiwu, Ambassador of the People鈥檚 Republic of China to Canada.
The two met at the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa on Monday, February 24, during Mr. Lewis鈥檚 trip to the Capital to participate in the Canadian Federation of Agriculture鈥檚 Annual Meeting.
鈥淪askatchewan and Canada have a longstanding trade relationship with China,鈥� says Lewis. 鈥淭heir market is incredibly important to Saskatchewan farmers.鈥�
The meet was cordial, with Mr. Lewis expressing a deep appreciation for the People鈥檚 Republic of China as an agricultural trading partner.
